The route is fully marshaled/signed.

The route starts from Leatherhead Fire Station, climbs up to Bockets Farm on roads, then moves onto rough tracks for the ascent to Norbury Park - the first half of the run is pretty much all up hill. At half way, near Norbury Park, the route starts downhill, and then snakes around to emerge on the A24, opposite Mickleham. Running past the mega-houses of Givons Grove (out of sight), you take a flat cyclepath towards Thorncroft Vineyard (yes, really), then cross the River Mole, and weave through the Fetcham Grove to emerge next to the Leisure Centre, and the last few hundred metres back to the Fire Station.
